Job summary

A leading UK recruitment firm is looking for a System Architect to manage the planning and development of ICT services. This is a permanent, office-based position with a competitive salary of up to £48,000 per annum, plus travel expenses.

Responsibilities

• Planning and developing ICT services including network applications.
• Network element configuration and daily service delivery.

• Networkelementconfigurationincludingday-to-dayservicedelivery.
• Networkandserverimplementationandoptimisationincludingdesigningandtestingprocedures.
• Service,networkandhardwaremigrationplanningandexecution.
• Proofofconcepttestingandacceptancetesting.
• Creatinghandoverdocumentsanddeliveringtrainingwithinthedivision.
• Developingandimplementingnewfeaturesandservices.
• Carefulconsiderationregardingimplementationandensuringsystemsareprofitable.
• VendorandCarriernegotiation,andcontrolforgainingthenecessaryinformationandfollowingitthrough.
• Establishingandceasingcircuitconnectionsofthesystems.
• 3rdleveltroubleshootingwithrelatedinternalteamsandbeingthefirstpointofcontactforinternalandexternalmatters.
• Actingasatechnicalleadforbothinternalandexternalstakeholders,ensuringclearcommunicationandaccountability.
• Incaseofcriticalincidents,coordinatewithrelevantpartiesandprovidesupportasrequiredtoensureservicecontinuity.
