The role is based within a specialist team that deals with a wide variety of Social Welfare, Care, Not For Profit and Charity policies. As this company is very much a market-leader within these areas, it is a chance to be involved with some extremely interesting insurance cases.

It is NOT essential that you have previous experience within Social Welfare / Care / Charity insurance as full training will be provided. However, you must have extensive underwriting experience encompassing Property And /OR Liability / Commercial Combined.

You will be working alongside the sales team, who will generate you new business cases to underwrite. Using your proven technical underwriting and negotiation skills, you will ensure that maximum take‑up is achieved from the broker panel.

It is essential that you enjoy underwriting new business, and that you enjoy working to targets. Just as importantly, you’ll be engaging, solutions‑focused, and you’ll genuinely enjoy building and managing relationships.
