Job summary

A reputable healthcare organization in Poole is seeking a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine to deliver high-quality care for neurology and ABI patients. The role includes managing the neuro rehab unit and participating in outpatient clinics. Candidates must have relevant medical qualifications and skills in rehabilitation medicine. This is a permanent, less than full-time position with negotiations on work hours possible.

Qualifications

• Clinical training equivalent to UK CCT in relevant specialities.
• Evidence of developing and managing quality stroke service.
• Experience supervising specialist trainees.

Responsibilities

• Management of inpatients on the rehab unit.
• Participate in neuro rehab outpatient clinics.
• Conduct clinical administration and support colleagues.

Skills

Wide knowledge in rehabilitation medicine

Good communication skills

Ability to prioritise workload

Caring attitude towards patients

Knowledge of clinical governance

Education

Medical qualification and GMC license

Entry on the GMC Specialist Register

MRCP or equivalent

MD or equivalent Higher Degree
