Job summary

A leading recruitment agency seeks a Network & Infrastructure Engineer for a 6-month contract in Farnborough. The role involves managing on-prem networking and firewall administration, with a pay range of £450 to £480 per day. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with VLANs, VMware, and various networking tools. This is a fully onsite position.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on management of on-prem networking, firewall, virtualization, Wi-Fi and physical servers.
• Manage VLANs, routing and firewall administration (Fortigate).
• Maintain VMware/vCenter environments and Dell server iDRAC.
• Work with a mixed-vendor network environment (Fortinet, Dell, HPE/Aruba).
• Adhere to change control processes and ensure secure, stable operations.
