Job summary

A healthcare provider in the UK is looking for enthusiastic Band 5 Nurses to join their Neonatal team. The successful candidate will provide individualised, high-quality neonatal care in a supportive environment. Candidates should be NMC registered nurses preferably with neonatal experience and a commitment to family-integrated care. The role requires working under supervision during shifts over a 24hr rota. A DBS check is mandatory, and early applications are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMC registration required.
• Experience in neonatal care preferred.
• Current CPD evidence is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, holistic care to neonates.
• Work under the supervision of a band 6 shift leader.
• Participate in shifts over a 24hr rota.

Skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work flexible within the neonatal team

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to use own initiative and work with minimal supervision

Education

NMC registration as a Midwife/Nurse

Evidence of current continual professional development (CPD)

Newborn Infant Physical Examination (NIPE)

Foundation in Neonates (FIN)

Qualification in Speciality (QIS)
