Job summary

A leading academic institution in the UK seeks a Clinical Reader or Professor of Neonatal Medicine to lead a large-scale neonatal research programme in collaboration with the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. The successful candidate will supervise researchers, engage in teaching, and develop an independent research programme. Qualifications

• PhD qualified in relevant subject area or pending results.
• Experience with neonatal care for babies with subspecialist conditions.
• Experience of undergraduate teaching and postgraduate training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to research in neonatal medicine.
• Supervise clinical and non-clinical researchers.
• Engage in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

Skills

Full registration with valid license to practice

Experience in complex and tertiary neonatal care

Ability to coordinate complex clinical care

High level of clinical skills and knowledge

Track record of academic publication

Strong commitment to delivering patient-centred care

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Education

MRCPCH or equivalent
