A leading housing provider in Ashford is looking for a Neighbourhood Housing Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service and administrative support. This full-time role includes working from the office and offers competitive salary and benefits. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and experience in office administration. Role Title: Neighbourhood Housing Assistant (Housing Administrator)
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Salary: £22,890-£28,612 per annum (salary offered dependent on experience)
Location: Stanhope, Ashford. This role offers agile working. You’ll be required to work from the office three days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and the remainder from home.
Contract: Full time, permanent
We’re looking for someone with good written, verbal, and numerical skills. You should be confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and have experience in office administration, including organising systems, records, and files.
An awareness of the social housing sector and current issues is important, along with some understanding of housing management processes such as payments, arrears, repairs, transfers, and mutual exchanges.

You’ll need to be organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, including handling CRM queues, emails, and reception duties. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders are essential.
