A community support organization located in the United Kingdom is seeking a Navigator & Tailored Support Youth Worker. This full-time position involves providing critical support to children and young adults at risk of or involved in youth violence, primarily in custody and hospital settings. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications in youth/community work and experience with vulnerable youth. This role entails risk assessment, intervention planning, and collaboration with various agencies to offer effective support. Flexible working hours are required.

As a Navigator & Tailored Support Youth Worker you will be providing support to children and young adults (CYA) who are victims of, at risk of or involved in serious/ youth violence. Support will predominantly occur at ‘reachable moments’ in custody settings and hospital sites within the county of Staffordshire.

Health & Custody settings within Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. This role will predominantly be based within the South of the County (Lichfield, Tamworth, East Staffordshire, South Staffordshire & Cannock)
This is a Full time role (37hrs per week)
Flexible working as part of a rota system including evenings and weekend
Enhanced DBS check
You will need a current driving licence, business insurance and use of suitable vehicle for work, and be willingto travel across Stoke and Staffordshire to deliver/ coordinate service outputs. Broader travel may also be a requirement of the service.
