A youth support organization in England is looking for a Navigator & Tailored Support Youth Worker to provide crucial support to children and young adults facing serious youth violence. The role involves assessing risks, developing action plans, and working collaboratively with partner agencies. Candidates should have at least 5 GCSEs and relevant professional qualifications. This full-time position requires flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and a valid driver's license is essential.
As a Navigator & Tailored Support Youth Worker you will be providing support to children and young adults (CYA) who are victims of at risk of or involved in serious / youth violence. Support will predominantly occur at reachable moments in custody settings and hospital sites within the county of Staffordshire.
Salary: 26267.92
Contract: Permanent
Location: Health & Custody settings within Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. This role will predominantly be based within the South of the County (Lichfield Tamworth East Staffordshire South Staffordshire & Cannock)
This is a Full time role (37hrs per week)
Flexible working as part of a rota system including evenings and weekend
Vetting and Clearance Requirements: Enhanced DBS check
You will need a current driving licence, business insurance and use of suitable vehicle for work and be willing to travel across Stoke and Staffordshire to deliver / coordinate service outputs. Broader travel may also be a requirement of the service.
