Job description

Alexander James Recruiting is working with a UK manufacturer & distributor of racking, storage and ancillary products seeking a sales professional to sell their new pallet shuttles products. With a strategic plan in place and excellent earning potential this is a fantastic long term opportunity for a capable sales professional within the warehousing/intralogistics sphere.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a key understanding of the companies range of innovative & premium pallet shuttle products
  • Form and develop relationships with key warehouse automation integrators, racking & storage manufacturers’ & distributors and other routes to market
  • Where possible, develop relationships with end user’s to include OEM’s, FMCG and 3PL’s
  • Conduct site survey’s and detailed quotations in order to sell pallet shuttle systems effectively
  • Attend various customer exhibitions and have the flexibility to travel where and when required

Requirements

The company require an individual who is a self-starter and able to develop relationships successfully via various revenue streams. It is essential you have a strong sales track record from within intralogistics having worked either in warehouse automation/robotics, racking & storage, material handling or similar. Experience of the full range of racking & storage products is highly desirable. Knowledge of shuttle systems would be preferable though not essential but a general warehousing appreciation and the ability to provide a consultative approach is essential.

Our client are a fast growing provider of various products related to warehousing and logistics. Providing racking & shelving they also supply barriers & barrier protection products, conveyors and line marking among other products. Part of a wider group that works in the Education sector and with continued growth the company are now seeking a new sales person to develop their own range of pallet shuttles.
