Overview

A market leading Facilities Management niche specialist services provider is looking to recruit a National Sales Manager to join its growing team. This 50 year old business has grown enormously over the last decade and has smashed annual targets year on year. They are looking to grow the team with immediate effect.

Salary and Rewards

Salary range is dependent on experience but will be circa £45,000–£55,000 + car package + an uncapped OTE that is seeing the team earn on average an additional £20,000/£40,000 a year on top.

This organisation works extensively across the UK with both FM providers and end users. They operate across both Hard and Soft FM, and offer a bundled solution into businesses across all vertical markets. They have tangible USPs and offer an industry-leading rewards package for their commercial team. You will join a team that has delivered each year against budget and has grown organically to a sizeable team that collaborates to cross-sell strategically.

Role Focus

You will provide services such as commercial cleaning, fire safety systems, building access solutions, building maintenance and more. Your client list includes household names such as: Mitie, CBRE, HSBC, Tesco, Pizza Hut, NHS, Engie, Sainsbury\'s, Sodexo, B&Q, Rolls-Royce, Marks & Spencer and many more.

Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with decision makers including Facilities Managers, Estates Managers, Health and Safety Managers, Procurement Managers, Compliance Managers, Finance Directors, or Managing Directors depending on the business.
  • Operate as a natural hunter of new business and excel at winning work and influencing people.
  • Be a strong negotiator, rapport builder, and highly target-driven.
  • Work as part of a team that strives for excellence and supports a fast-moving, successful environment.
  • Be home based, covering a national patch, and identify end user clients and service providers.
  • Sell products or services into the described target audiences; specific sector experience is not required, but experience selling into the specified decision makers is essential.
  • Demonstrate a history of delivering results in new business development while also managing the accounts you win.
Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Experience selling to the decision makers listed above (e.g., Facilities Managers, Estates Managers, Health & Safety Managers, Procurement Managers, Compliance Managers, Finance Directors, Managing Directors).
  • Proven track record in new business development and achieving targets.
  • Ability to identify end user clients and service providers and to win new business while managing ongoing accounts.
