Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, hands‑on National Installation Manager to lead, develop, and inspire our network of installation teams across the UK. This pivotal role ensures that every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards—reflecting our vision of snag‑free handovers and our reputation for raising the bar in project delivery. You will be the key link between installation teams, internal project managers, and client project teams, driving operational excellence and embodying our core values: Appreciative, Dedicated, Expeditious, Positive, and Trustworthy.

Key Responsibilities
Installer Network Leadership
  • Build, manage, and motivate a nationwide pool of installers, ensuring alignment with our values and standards.
  • Monitor performance, deliver targeted upskilling, and decisively address underperformance.
  • Source, onboard, and induct new installation teams, ensuring compliance with company processes and culture.
  • Design and deliver training programmes to drive quality, efficiency, and safety.
Quality Assurance & Site Excellence
  • Conduct regular site visits, ensuring installations meet client expectations and are handed over snag‑free.
  • Champion a culture of “right first time” and continuous improvement.
  • Implement robust QA processes, including daily progress reporting, readiness checks, and use of digital site logs.
Cost Control & Commercial Management
  • Monitor installation costs, proactively manage budgets, and negotiate rates/subcontractor agreements.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
Project Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Liaise with internal project managers to align schedules, resolve issues, and optimise resource allocation.
  • Provide clear, timely progress updates and maintain accurate reporting.
  • Build strong relationships with client project teams, acting as a trusted partner and problem solver.
Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
  • Oversee contractor documentation, inductions, and ongoing compliance.
  • Promote a culture of safety, respect, and professionalism on every site.
Team Development & Culture
  • Foster a positive, solution‑focused environment, encouraging teamwork and personal growth.
  • Mentor supervisors and installers, modelling the “Isaac the Invincible” persona—precision, positivity, and professionalism.
  • Uphold our standards for conduct, communication, and client interaction.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in field operations, installation management, or construction project delivery (ideally with joinery/assembly‑based packages).
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Commercial acumen with a focus on cost control and value delivery.
  • Deep understanding of site safety, compliance, and documentation requirements.
  • Tech‑savvy, comfortable with digital site logs, scheduling apps, and remote reporting.
  • Ability to travel extensively across the UK and adapt to varied project durations and team structures.
  • Commitment to company values and vision.
Why This Role Matters

You will be instrumental in shaping our quality, reputation, and growth. By driving operational excellence, nurturing high‑performing teams, and ensuring every project is delivered snag‑free, you’ll help us become the project partner of choice for main contractors nationwide.
