Job description

This lovely family based in Surrey is seeking a reliable and routine-oriented Afterschool Nanny to support their two children. The role combines morning school‑run support with afternoon care and is ideal for a calm, organised nanny who enjoys creating structure and consistency in children’s daily routines. A driver would be a bonus, though not essential. A valid first‑aid qualification is a must.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 9:15 am and 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Duties include:

• Supporting the morning routine and school drop‑offs.
• Collecting the children from school and providing attentive afterschool care.
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• Creating a calm, structured afternoon routine including play, homework support, and wind‑down time.
• Encouraging good behaviour, independence, and positive habits.
• Light tidying and housekeeping related to the children.
• Providing consistent care during three full days per week in school holidays, as agreed in advance.
