Music Teacher Secondary School (KS3 KS5)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Music Teacher to join our secondary school team, teaching Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5 students. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop their musical knowledge, skills, and creativity, fostering engagement and achievement across all abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality music lessons across KS3 KS5, including curriculum planning and assessment
  • Prepare students for examinations, performances, and recitals
  • Encourage creativity, confidence, and enjoyment of music
  • Support extra-curricular music activities, ensembles, and school events
  • Monitor and report on student progress
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Music across KS3, KS4, and KS5
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
  • Passionate about music and extra-curricular opportunities
