Are you a dynamic and enthusiastic music educator looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of musicians?

Look no further! Our vibrant secondary school in Northampton is seeking a talented Music Teacher to join our dedicated team. This position is full-time, long-term role starting in January 2026.

The successful candidate will have experience teaching Music in secondary schools and will have QTS or be an ECT. The ideal candidate will enjoy teaching and hope to inspire their students by instilling in them a life‑long love of music. You would prepare and deliver engaging music lessons in line with the national curriculum. This role is ideal for experienced teachers who want to share their passion for music with their students.

The Role
  • Teaching Music to KS3 and KS4 pupils
  • Plan and deliver a diverse range of musical activities, including instrumental tuition, ensemble rehearsals, and music theory lessons.
  • Inspire and engage students through dynamic and interactive music lessons.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported in their musical endeavors.
  • Working effectively in a team building relationships with colleagues and students.
