An Ofsted graded ‘Outstanding’ school setting based in the heart of Walthamstow, are seeking a Music Lead Teacher for a temporary 1 term cover from January 2026. The successful candidate will confidently lead Music across the whole school , on a full-time basis. The ideal Music Lead Teacher must be confident in the promotion and teaching of school Music, and be able to coordinate their popular after-school music tuition programme in which they will offer tuition on their specialist instrument. They must be a flexible and charismatic team-player, and have a good knowledge of delivering a whole-school Music programme. The successful candidate will benefit from a generously resourced designated Music room.
The school is 2 form entry in size, and is a brilliantly culturally diverse setting. The offering to the children is vast, with there being well resourced provisions for Music, IT and Art. With inclusivity at the heart of everything, the school has its own provision for children on the Autistic spectrum.
