Overview

The Rhema Pentecostal Church-UK is currently looking for a Musik Director whose duties and responsibilities shall include:

• Selecting music, preparing musicians through rehearsals, and conducting performances or recordings.
• Key responsibilities include holding auditions, managing music budgets, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality sound from musicians, and collaborating with other production staff like stage managers.

Core Responsibilities

• Musical Leadership: Conducts ensembles during rehearsals and performances, guiding musicians on phrasing, tempo, rhythm, and dynamics to create a unified sound.
• Music Selection and Preparation: Chooses musical works, arranges scores, and prepares them for performance.
• Musician Management: Holds auditions to find and select musicians and singers, provides musical guidance, and assigns roles based on individual talent and skills.
• Rehearsal Direction: Schedules and leads rehearsals to teach the music, provide feedback, and ensure the group is prepared for a performance.
