A leading sports organisation is seeking a qualified Multisports Coach Mentor to lead programme delivery at two schools in Greater London. The role involves planning and executing high-quality coaching sessions, mentoring young people, and ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies. Candidates must possess an NGB Level 2 coaching qualification and demonstrate strong mentoring abilities along with excellent organisational skills. A passion for youth development is essential. Salary ranges from £27,500 to £29,000 per annum depending on experience.
We are looking to recruit a qualified, skilled Multisports Coach Mentor to lead a programme across two schools, Stepney Greencoat C of E Primary School & St.Peter's London Docks CE Primary School. This role will be split evenly between the schools, with 0.50 FTE allocated to each. The role will include planning and delivering a comprehensive high-quality coaching and mentoring programme. Our programmes typically include a combination of non-curricular breakfast, lunch and after‑school coaching sessions, one‑to‑one or small group sessions (where agreed with the school) and develop regular competitive opportunities for all players. You will also be required to deliver half‑term and holiday camps during the school holidays.
As a coach mentor you will also work closely with the Impact Team to collect high‑quality data to demonstrate the effectiveness of what we do and to quantify the difference we make to our young people. Data is collected at designated times throughout the year and includes case studies, questionnaires, skills and fitness testing. Our coaches also regularly review the young people’s progress and set targets for their future development.

To be considered for this role you must hold a NGB Level 2 (or equivalent) coaching qualification and have experience of successfully delivering and managing top quality programmes for children and young people in a school, community or sports club setting. You will also demonstrate strong mentoring skills and experience, as well as being a confident and capable IT user with excellent administrative and organisational skills needed to effectively plan and manage the programme and capture all relevant data in a timely manner.
