A community-focused local council is seeking a MULTI TRADE OPERATIVE to join the Housing Repairs team in Beeston. This role involves performing various repairs in council housing, particularly in tenanted properties, where excellent customer service and technical skills across multiple trades are essential. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm and flexibility to ensure a responsive service. Salary ranges from £33,170 to £34,806, plus a tool allowance and company van provided.
£33,170 - £34,806 per annum (Grade 8)
Plus a tool allowance of up to £483.08 per year
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and customer-focused individual, who can fulfil this role within the Council’s Housing Repairs team.
In this role you will spend your day undertaking a variety of repairs to our Council’s housing stock across a variety of trades such as joinery and plumbing. As you will be visiting various properties you will require excellent customer service skills in order to effectively communicate with our customers.
Most of your work will be undertaken in tenanted properties, but you may also be required to work in empty properties to undertake work to get these ready for new tenants.
You will be provided with a company van for this role.
