Overview

Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician – Caerphilly

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 plus pension scheme and more. Benefits package includes overtime, a 3 shift pattern with NO WEEKENDS, 22 days holidays plus bank holidays, and potential for additional benefits such as health cash plans.

Responsibilities

• Run and maintain factory equipment and assembly processes, monitor and check product quality and document results.
• Maximise the effectiveness of machinery and equipment by minimising downtime and supporting the effective operation of the Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system.
• Ensure efficient production through maintenance of assets and assured technical capabilities.
• Perform equipment setup, operation, equipment adjustments and minor preventative maintenance tasks to meet standards for safety, quality and efficiency.
• Work with high-speed machinery, conveyors, motors, FMCG machinery and drives.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Multi-skilled maintenance background with electrical or mechanical bias.
• NVQ Level 3 qualification in an Engineering discipline would be preferred.
• Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
