Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Stoke (Newcastle-under-Lyme)

Salary: £53,000

Shift: 4 on 4 off – Days & Nights

Contract: Permanent | Full Time

Allied Bakeries are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias to join the engineering team at their Stoke site. This is a hands‑on role within a large, automated FMCG manufacturing environment.

The position is open to engineers from FMCG or heavy industrial backgrounds, including building materials, manufacturing or continuous process sites.

The Role
  • Electrical fault-finding on automated production machinery
  • Reactive and planned maintenance across plant and site services
  • Working with motors, sensors, drives, panels and control systems
  • Supporting breakdown response and continuous improvement activity
  • Completing PPMs and maintenance records
