Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, (Day shift), Kent £57,500 Circa + benefits

Unknown Resourcing is seeking a dynamic and diligent electrically biased Mult-Skilled Engineer to join our clients Engineering team based in Rochester. The purpose of this role is to support with and facilitate the planned, preventative and routine maintenance of a range of equipment and machinery on site to ensure the smooth running of the facility.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities

• To ensure all machines and equipment are maintained to the optimum standards through adequate maintenance
• Using fault finding techniques, react quickly to faults and breakdowns, communicating clearly with affected parties and working efficiently to fix the issue.
• Minimise the likelihood of breakdowns by keeping equipment in a good state of repair and seeking continuous improvement opportunities by looking for ways to reduce the cost impact to the business as a result of downtime and ensuring a systematic planned maintenance programme is in place
• Communicate with production teams to advance plan for downtime on machinery for service / modification or repairs that need carrying out
• Maintaining a stock of critical spare parts as well as ordering parts for service and repair work
