Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Sheffield

Salary: Up to £52,000 (DOE)

Hours: 40 hours | 3 shift pattern | (Mornings, Afters & Nights)

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on heavy machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
  • Support machine installations, commissioning, and upgrades
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Liaise with production teams to minimise downtime and improve machine reliability
Ideal Candidate
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment
  • Competence in both electrical and mechanical maintenance
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Experience maintaining, repairing and servicing heavy equipment and machinery
Qualifications
  • Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering (desirable)
