Qualifications

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

The Company

We're recruiting for a market-leading manufacturer operating a fully automated production facility equipped with advanced processing and packaging systems. Continued investment in automation, reliability, and engineering development has created an opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of automated machinery
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control faults
  • Work with and maintain equipment such as:
  • Tanks, mixers, and rollers
  • Pumps and ovens
  • Conveyors, depositors, and palletisers
  • Packaging machinery
  • Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis projects
  • Liaise with production and automation teams to ensure minimal downtime
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out and follow safety protocols
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering
  • Experience working in automated or process manufacturing environments
  • Strong fault-finding skills across electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing engineering team
