Qualifications

  • Experience with CNC machine control systems such as Siemens and Mazak is desirable.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing techniques is an advantage.
  • Lifting and slinging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Service and repair manual and CNC machinery, diagnosing and implementing repairs.
  • Maintain site infrastructure, plant and equipment including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

Skills

Proven experience maintaining manufacturing machinery and facilities
Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship

Tools

CNC machine control systems
IPAF or forklift truck counterbalance licence

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Worksop
Salary: £40,000 (More Depending ON Experience)
Shifts: Days - Monday - Friday / Early finish on Friday's
Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays - Option to buy or sell holidays

We're hiring on behalf of a leading engineering manufacturer. Our client is a global engineering business supplying mission-critical products to a wide range of industries. Key Responsibilities
  • Service and repair manual and CNC machinery, carrying out diagnostics and implementing effective repairs
  • Maintain site infrastructure, plant and equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Assist in developing maintenance procedures and programs
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environmental guidelines
  • Interpret engineering drawings and O&M manuals, sourcing components as required
  • Support and train peers and apprentices where needed
  • Complete all quality checks and documentation accurately
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and project initiatives
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience maintaining manufacturing machinery and facilities
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship
  • Familiarity with CNC machine control systems (Siemens and Mazak desirable)
  • IPAF or forklift truck counterbalance licence (desirable)
  • Lifting and slinging experience (desirable)
