40 Hours per week with some call out expectation paid at overtime rates

We are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our team to work across properties within North Tyneside.

About the Role

Working to deliver the best quality service, carrying out responsive and planned repairs to both occupied and void properties, you’ll undertake a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work to include electrical maintenance and repairs, plumbing, tiling and plastering, etc, within a social housing setting. You’ll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training), working efficiently and safely in line with best practice to achieve excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver responsive and planned repairs to occupied and void properties in a social housing setting.
  • Carry out a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work including electrical maintenance and repairs, plumbing, tiling and plastering, etc.
  • Receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training) and work efficiently and safely in line with best practices to achieve excellent customer experience.
About You
  • Candidates will hold a relevant trade City and Guilds qualification (ideally electrical) or a Level 2 Building Maintenance Operative or equivalent.
  • Ideally, you will hold a blue CSCS or higher and have excellent working knowledge of health and safety.
  • Customer focused with experience of working in both occupied and void properties, you’ll have a passion for completing high-quality repairs on time, first time.
  • You must hold a valid full UK driving license held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).
