Job description

We are looking for an electrical maintenance engineer to work as part of a team delivering professional engineering services to a busy heavy operations and manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• To work as part of a team or alone dependant on the company needs.
• Complete daily scheduled TPMs to a high standard.
• Communicate with production and team leaders to priorities machine breakdowns.
• To effectively communicate shift handovers before and after the employees shift.
• To be involved where required for project work / plant improvement.
• To assist Works engineer with route cause analysis and corrective actions for re-occurring breakdowns.
• Competent with risk assessing jobs and working safely.
• Discuss production activity and problems with managers and supervisors.
• Discuss work requirement and issues with direct manager.
• Role is working Days only.

Role Requirements

• Heavy industry experience
• NVQ Electrical or HNC qualifications or equivalent
• Must have sound mechanical skills and knowledge

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 with a clear progression to an Engineering Lead for the site.
