Electrical Maintenance Engineer

12 hour Days & Nights

£57,000-£58,000

Overview

Due to retirement, I am on the lookout for a multi‑skilled engineer. Working as part of an engineering team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of food processing machinery and equipment across the site. You'll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on machinery, control panels, and electrical systems
  • Support improvement projects and contribute to process efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety standards
Qualifications
  • Strong electrical background with relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in an electrical maintenance role within a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
  • A team player with a proactive attitude
