About the Opportunity:

Are you a Chartered Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Associate or Director-level professional to help grow and develop our Manchester presence. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the direction of a regional office, with full backing and support from an experienced and well-established team based in London.

The successful candidate will join a respected, client-focused consultancy with a strong pipeline of work across the North West, including major façade remediation and high-profile building projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong local network and a desire to make their mark in a growing market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Growth: Drive the growth of the Manchester office, with a focus on building client relationships and developing the business locally.
  • Project Delivery: Lead and deliver high-quality quantity surveying services across a range of projects, from inception to completion.
  • Employer’s Agent / Contract Administration: Take a hands-on role in contract management and project oversight, ensuring best-in-class delivery.
  • Façade Remediation: Manage and advise on complex façade remediation projects, ensuring compliance, budget control, and programme delivery.
  • Client Engagement: Use your knowledge of the local market to build strong client relationships and support ongoing business development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with both the Manchester and London teams to ensure seamless service delivery and shared success.

Key Requirements:

  • MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor (essential)
  • 10+ years’ experience in a PQS or consultancy environment
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering high-quality surveying services
  • Strong knowledge of the North West property and construction market
  • Experience in façade remediation projects is advantageous
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client engagement skills
