Band: Link grade band 5-6
Salary: £31,049 - £37,796 Link Band 5 to Band 6

We are recruiting for a MRI Specialist Radiographer who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

The post-holder will have responsibility for the provision of high quality MRI scans within the imaging department limited to the scope of band 6 MRI Specialist Radiographer. Will consider Band 5 training post, link to Band 6 depending on experience.

He/She will be required to maintain a high personal standard of clinical excellence. They will be required to attend training and train other staff as required. In line with the Clinical Governance framework they will seek to continually improve service safety and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality MRI scans within the imaging department, limited to the scope of the band 6 MRI Specialist Radiographer. Band 5 training post considered depending on experience.
  • Work ad hoc shifts as required to suit business needs, often to cover busy periods, sickness or annual leave and CDC working.
  • Attend training and train other staff as required.
  • Contribute to continual service safety and quality improvements in line with the Clinical Governance framework.
Hours and Working Pattern

The MRI department currently opens between 07:15 and 20:15 and operates 7 days a week.

Requirements
  • Previous experience on Siemens MRI scanners is desirable but not essential.
