A personal assistance service is seeking a Temporary Personal Assistant in Pontyclun to support an individual with Multiple Sclerosis in social activities and personal care. The role involves accompanying on outings, providing transport, and handling light domestic tasks. The ideal candidate is proactive, kind, and has experience with Multiple Sclerosis. This position is part-time, at approximately £14 per hour, with a possibility of becoming permanent.
JOB DESCRIPTION Temporary Personal Assistant A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF I am a lady in my early 60’s living in Talbot Green.
I have Multiple Sclerosis which limits my mobility.
I am happy and outgoing and I enjoy getting out and about socially.
I enjoy eating out, going to the cinema, visiting museums and I also enjoy the great outdoors.
I am looking for someone proactive to help me find new hobbies and someone who can think outside the box to support me.
PURPOSE OF JOB Sickness cover only.
There is a strong likelihood this role will become permanent, however this cannot be guaranteed just yet.
I am looking for a permanent PA who will be committed for long term employment.
The purpose of the job is to support me with my social activities and personal care.
There will also be times when I am unable to go out and then light domestic tasks and meal preparation support will be required.
PLACE OF WORK At my home and in and around the RCT area HOURS OF WORK 13 hours per week / over 3 - 4 shifts, weekends on occasion RATE OF PAY £14.00 per hour plus mileage where applicable TASKS INVOLVED To accompany me on hospital, doctors and dentist visits.
To provide suitable transport for social outings. (e.g. own car) Support with personal care To enable and accompany me out on social outings to include going shopping, concerts, cinema and special events etc.

The cost of this check will be covered by the Local Authority.
All necessary checks will be conducted to verify that any candidate has the legal right to work in the UK before employment begins.
Although this is a part-time role, it is a legitimate position requiring the submission of a National Insurance number.
Employment will commence under an initial trial period.
Wages will be paid on a monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay will be provided.
