Job summary

A care recruitment agency in Ripley is seeking engaging Care Workers to provide 24-hour personalized care in a 28-bed residential home. Responsibilities include delivering personal care, following care plans, and promoting residents’ wellbeing. Offering £12.50 per hour with flexible shifts throughout the week. A valid DBS and relevant training are required, with support available for training needs.

Qualifications

  • Must have referenceable work history.
  • Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control).
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or be registered on the update service.
  • Minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience in a care setting.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a dedicated team providing 24-hour personalised care in a beautifully maintained 28-bed residential care home in the heart of Ripley. Your focus will be on supporting residents to live independently, with dignity and joy.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality personal care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
  • Following and updating individualised care plans
  • Promoting residents’ emotional and psychological wellbeing
  • Encouraging independence and meaningful daily engagement
Training and DBS

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, we can help you with this. We offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

This is an ongoing position for work. We have shifts available throughout the week. Typical hours are 06:45 to 14:30. You can choose the days you’d like to work. The rate of pay will be £12.50 per hour.
