Overview

Equans is looking for a Mobilisation Project Manager - Facilities Management to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

As a key member of the Mobilisation Team, the Mobilisation Project Manager leads the planning and execution of mobilisation programmes for new contracts, exiting and hand back projects at expiry date and internal transformation initiatives. This role ensures seamless project delivery, supports operational readiness, and drives cultural and behavioural change to achieve the target operating model whilst keeping clients expectations at the heart of delivery.

The role holder will collaborate across departments, manage milestones and gateways as wells as ensuring projects transition smoothly from initiation to steady-state operations.

Flexibility to travel is essential, as is a passion for driving change and continuous improvement.

This role will be based from any Equans site in North England

What will you deliver?
  • Lead the mobilisation / exit of interim and permanent FM services for assigned contracts.
  • Develop and deliver transformation plans aligned to time, cost, quality, and behavioural objectives.
  • Facilitate mobilisation meetings, ensuring timely communication and documentation.
  • Create and implement the Mobilisation Master Planner using Equans methodologies and company policies.
  • Review contract documentation to identify deliverables, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Maintain and escalate the Risk Register, ensuring visibility of critical risks to the steering committee.
  • Monitor mobilisation and operational budgets, challenging variances through formal governance.
  • Partner with Bid Teams during contract development to shape mobilisation strategies.
  • Coordinate and collaborate cross-functional support services including HR, Procurement, QSE, and Technical Projects etc..
  • Lead post-mobilisation wash-up sessions to capture lessons learned and best practices.
  • Contribute to the evolution of mobilisation policies, procedures, and planning frameworks.
