Qualifications

  • Industry experience in heavy vehicle or trailer repair.
  • Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQs Level 3.
  • Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers.
  • Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation.
  • Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department.
  • Completion of MOT preparation.

The successful Mobile Trailer Technician can expect a salary of up to £38,000 per annum. Working hours: 45 hours per week.

  • Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers

Requirements
  • Industry experience in heavy vehicle or trailer repair
  • Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQs Level 3
  • Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence
  • IRTEC certification or equivalent
  • Experience with EBS diagnostics systems including KnorrBremse, Haldex, and WABCO
  • Welding skills and certifications
  • Knowledge of axle manufacturers like BPW, SAF, or JOST
  • Tail lift and lifting deck maintenance experience
  • Experience with double-deck trailers is desirable
