Mobile Refrigeration Engineer (Commercial / Industrial)

£36,000 - £45,000 + Progression + Training + Overtime + Door to Door

Home based role: (Birmingham, Swindon, Bristol, Cheltenham, Worcester, Coventry, Gloucester, Kidderminster, Bath, Banbury & Surrounding areas)

Are you a Refrigeration Engineer looking to kick start your long‑term career in a secure industry with opportunities for on‑the‑job training? This is a field role covering an area from the East Midlands to the Southwest, completing tasks such as maintenance, repairs and fault investigation. In this role you will provide maintenance, service and installation across a wide range of customers in a day‑based varied role.

The Role

• Diagnose and repair mobile refrigeration units, aiming for first‑time fixes.
• Carry out on‑site callouts at roadside locations, customer depots, and VMUs.
• Perform maintenance, repairs and fault investigations.
• Support aftermarket activities, including service and test procedures.
• Contribute to R&D and wider engineering investigations.

The Person

• Experience in refrigeration or HVAC, with mechanical and basic electrical skills (F‑Gas Cat 1, UK manual licence).
• Able to diagnose and repair faults efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication, teamwork and time‑management skills.
• Positive attitude with a passion for sustainability.
