Job summary

A leading facility management company in the UK is seeking a Mobile Fire Door Approved Person (AP) to perform maintenance tasks across commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a trade background, with a Level 3 City & Guilds qualification in Carpentry and Joinery. This role offers flexible hours and requires proactive maintenance skills along with the ability to manage compliance and documentation tasks.

Qualifications

• Trade background with recognized qualification or completed apprenticeship.
• Extensive knowledge of building fabric services and Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive maintenance repairs and PPM across various client contracts.
• Quality assure inspection documentation and sign off remedial/installation works.
• Work collaboratively with lead contract support and Client Engineering Coordinators (CEC).

Skills

Proficiency with smartphones, PDAs, laptops, and IT systems

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Flexible approach to working hours

Self-motivated with supervisory capabilities

Education

Level 3 City & Guilds in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent
