Job description
Mobile Electrician

Salary: £41,000 per annum
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00
Region: Covering Staines through to Heathrow Airport

About the Role

As a Mobile electrician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of buildings and electrical systems across a dedicated South East patch, covering Staines Magistrates Court through to Heathrow Airport. You won't be travelling into London-your work will stay within a manageable, local area.

This is an ideal role if you enjoy variety, independence, and being part of a strong team who rely on you to keep critical sites running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical work across sites between Staines and Heathrow.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults quickly and safely.
  • Work on electrical systems including lighting, small power, distribution boards, emergency lighting, motors, and control equipment.
  • Make sure all work complies with BS 7671 and site safety standards.
  • Communicate professionally with site teams and clients.
  • Use mobile devices to complete job sheets, reports, and compliance paperwork.
  • Support other engineers when needed and respond to urgent issues.
What You'll Need
  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds electrical qualification (or equivalent).
  • Experience in building services or mobile facilities maintenance.
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Confidence to work independently across your patch.
