Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to work across 2 sites, one in Castle Donington and one in Stansted. The ideal candidate is based in or around Peterborough. Responsibilities include delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive services, collaborating with on-site maintenance staff, and ensuring all work complies with health and safety legislation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Complete PPM schedules and ensure paperwork is accurate.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Prioritize electrical maintenance and repairs to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain fire alarm systems and conduct emergency lighting tests.
  • Identify faults, advise on replacements, and complete compliance documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with site management about maintenance issues.
  • Perform minor alterations and general repairs within technical competence.
  • Attend training to keep skills up to date.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies and maintain professional standards.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/maintenance.
  • City and Guilds 18th edition.
  • Valid driving license.

This is a permanent role offering up to £41,000 annually, plus a van and fuel card, with opportunities for overtime and call-out payments.
