Job summary

A leading defence organization is seeking a Missile Test Architect to develop and implement test strategies for missile systems. The role requires a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and significant experience in test engineering. The position is hybrid with work in Stevenage or Bolton, on a 6-month contract, paying £60 per hour. The ideal candidate will also have experience in requirements capture and project management, making key contributions to the testing architecture of missile systems.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in test, electrical or electronic engineering required.
• Good understanding of project management and planning.
• Experience in stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the project test strategy.
• Define and implement the BIT architecture including coverage requirements.
• Specify missile factory testing to ensure correct product build.
• Specify in-service testing routines for missiles.
• Generate compliance plans for design teams.
• Model system to understand test coverage.
• Propose cost vs test coverage trade-offs.
• Maintain activity plans within the area of responsibility.
