Job description

MERITUS Talent are working with a leading, global aerospace organisation for the recruitment of a Minor Works Project Manager to join their Filton office on an initial 12 month contract role. The position will be split across their Filton and Newport locations paying up to £40 per hour via an Umbrella. The incumbent of the role must be able to obtain UK Security Clearance due to some aspects of the position.

We're looking for an experienced Facilities Management Project Manager to join the FMRE team, taking responsibility for a range of minor works projects (up to £100k in value) across our Filton and Newport sites.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong M&E and facilities experience who enjoys managing multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring they're delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

What you\'ll be doing
  • Managing multiple projects of up to £100k across Filton and Newport
  • Creating and managing clear project plans
  • Ensuring safety standards and risk assessments are in place and followed
  • Managing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with CDM regulations
  • Controlling budgets, costs, and final accounts
  • Reviewing and learning from each project to drive continuous improvement
  • Managing stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
What we\'re looking for
  • Experience managing M&E / facilities projects up to £100k
  • IOSH Managing Safely (NEBOSH preferred)
  • Strong financial awareness and stakeholder management skills
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations
  • Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC) for work on the Newport site
