Job summary

A leading educational trust in Brighton is seeking a Minibus Driver/Handyperson to transport students to and from school using academy minibuses. This is a temporary role until July 2026 with working hours from 07:45am to 09:45am. The ideal candidate will possess a Level 3 qualification and should be able to converse confidently in English. The role also requires ensuring the cleanliness and conducting maintenance checks on vehicles. Competitive salary based on experience.

Executive Principal: Mrs L Brammer | Required: As Soon As Possible | Minibus Driver/Handyperson | Temporary until 17th July 2026 | 20 Hours per Week | Level 3, Actual Salary (£11,723 - £11,907) | Term Time Only

Responsibilities

Transport students to and from school using the Academy’s minibuses. Ensure the cleanliness of our vehicles and complete maintenance checks. Work hours: 07:45am – 09:45am.

Qualifications

The ability to converse at ease with members of the public, including staff and students, in accurate spoken English is essential for the post. Postholders must be able to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English. Level 3 qualification.
