Qualifications

Job description

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our equipment operates at peak performance, supporting production excellence and safety standards. Location: 1055 Wilton Grove Rd, London, ON N6A 4K3

Starting Salary Range: $44 - $50 / hour (dependent on experience)

Working Schedule: Continental shift and Day shift options available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment according to schedule and accurately complete related documentation.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues on the production floor to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Safely and efficiently use all tools for maintenance, overhaul, and setup of company assets.
  • Operate lifting devices, scissor lifts, and genie booms as required, following all safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Valid Ontario Millwright Trade Certification (433A) or Interprovincial Red Seal qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Millwright or Industrial Mechanic.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; plastics, injection molding, or extrusion experience is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic systems.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Comfortable using digital tools and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must provide own basic hand tools.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices.
  • Experience in a unionized environment is an asset but not required.

Working Conditions
  • This role is primarily based in a plant environment and involves physical activity, including lifting, pulling, and pushing objects (up to 50–100 lbs.), as well as standing and walking for extended periods.

  • Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to succeed in this role.
