Mig Welder & Fabricator - Permanent Opportunity

Location: Brierley Hill, Dudley.

Poolhall Recruitment is partnered with a well-established manufacturing client to recruit an experienced MIG Welder who can fabricate from engineering drawings. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong MIG welding and fabrication background, particularly in products such as gates, fences, bollards, and posts.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG welding and fabrication of steel products, including gates, fences, bollards, and posts, from engineering drawings.
• Reading and interpret technical drawings to create precise fabrications.
• Maintaining a high standard of work and ensuring quality control throughout the process.
• Upholding a clean and safe working environment.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience in MIG welding and fabrication to a high standard.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Multi-layer weld up to 15mm on 30mm plate.
• High-quality work ethic with attention to detail.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and tidy workspace.

Job Type

This is a full-time, permanent position with an initial 12-week temp-to-perm probation period. Upon successful completion, you will transition into a permanent role.
