ArmstrongB2B is a 55 strong, multidisciplinary agency that offers strategy, design, digital, social media, 3D, animation, photography, video & motion from a single source. We are based in Chester city centre and work globally with world leading industrial manufacturing brands. We develop marketing strategies that deliver exceptional ROI for our customers. Our work includes rebrand and repositioning, commercial strategy, integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, market diversification. We also work clients on product animations, innovative web platforms, corporate videos, photography shoots and exhibition support.

We’re looking for a talented Middleweight Designer to join our growing creative team. You’ll be part of a driven and collaborative studio that thrives on fresh ideas and thoughtful design. Working across a broad range of global brands, you’ll bring stories to life through engaging visual concepts and crafted execution. From brainstorming big ideas to refining the finer details, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute at every stage of the creative process. You’ll be hands-on across campaigns, digital, print, branding, and beyond — always with a strong eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling. We’re looking for someone with around 3+ years of agency experience, a strong portfolio that showcases your creative thinking, and a passion for producing beautiful, effective design.

Please note all of our roles are based 5 days per week at our Chester City Centre offices.

  • Contribute creative ideas and concepts to briefs across a range of global clients and industries
  • Design and develop visual solutions across brand, digital, social, and print channels
  • Demonstrate high quality brand execution interpreting guidelines and applying them consistently across multiple touchpoints
  • Collaborate with and learn from senior creatives across all disciplines bringing concepts to life with strong execution
  • 3+ years of agency or studio experience, with a portfolio that shows both creative thinking and polished execution
  • A strong grasp of design fundamentals
  • The ability to take a concept and develop it – from ideation through to final artwork
  • An openness to feedback and collaboration
  • Experience working across multiple formats – from digital and social to brand and print
  • An ability to work to briefs, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
  • The desire to keep learning and pushing creatively, staying curious about trends, tools, and techniques
  • A collaborative approach, supporting teammates and contributing positively to the culture of the studio
  • Solid software skills, particularly in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) – Figma, After Effects, or similar tools are a bonus

Salary £30-40,000 DOE
