Part of the Diocese of Norwich St Benet’s MAT

Salary - Scale B2, £4,130 actual per annum
Fixed term until 17 July 2026 (possibility of extension)
Part Time
7.5 hours per week
Term Time only

Role

We would love to hear from you if you are an enthusiastic and committed person who enjoys working with children. We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisory Assistant to start as soon as possible after all checks have been carried out. You will need to have a calm and caring manner and contribute to a happy lunchtime for all.

Responsibilities
  • Duties will involve setting out/putting away tables and chairs and supervising the children in the dinner hall, the playground, and on the field.
  • Promoting positive play and listening to children read at the end of lunchtime.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, and promote positive behaviour and independence.
What we are looking for
  • Has a positive attitude, works well in a team, and is committed to the role.
  • Has experience working with children.
  • Has a kind and consistent approach when supporting children to do their best.
  • Uses positive behaviour strategies and will follow our behaviour policy.
