Job description
Overview

Meadowside Community Primary & Nursery School is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed mid-day assistant to join our team. This is a permanent, part-time position (7.5 hours) with salary: Grade 3 (SCP 4 to SCP 5) pro-rata. Closing Date: 10 October 2025. Start date: as soon as possible.

The Governors invite applications from candidates who can engage, empathise with, and support our children during lunch time.

Responsibilities
  • To assist with the supervision of pupils whilst they are eating.
  • To support the general supervision of pupils to and from dining hall and other designated areas.
  • To supervise pupils in the playground and undertake appropriate playground activities.
  • To carry out some general cleaning duties in the hall such as wiping tables and brushing the floor.
