Job description

Laboratory Manager is required for our engineering client based in Wakefield. You will be managing a team dealing with metallurgy projects and you have heavy industrial experience and come from a welding background.

This is a permanent role and would start in December 2025.

This role would primarily be working in the petro chemical and power industry. You would be managing a small team which means they are looking for a driven person with a positive attitude who would lead from the front.

You would need knowledge of conforming to BS EN ISO/ IEC 17025:2017 and having UKAS accreditations etc

A minimum of 5years experience in material testing or metallurgy laboratory operations.

You would also need experience of managing budgets.
