Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare metallurgical specimens for examination using cutting and polishing equipment.
• Perform routine examination and testing of metallurgical specimens.
• Assist with the organisation and housekeeping of the laboratory.
• Work across multi laboratory locations on site.
• Work some overtime and shift patterns as required.

Skills

Computer literate - MS Windows and MS Office packages

Good written and verbal communication skills

Understanding and following procedures and work instructions; compliance to Health and Safety

Previous laboratory experience with use of chemicals and specimen preparation
