Job summary

A manufacturing company in the UK is looking for individuals to join their team responsible for producing precision components. Your role will involve operating CNC machines, preparing components for anodising, and ensuring quality checks against engineering drawings. Applicants should have experience in abrasive cleaning and deburring, and demonstrate safety knowledge in handling hazardous chemicals. Overtime is available with flexible shifts offering pay uplifts.

Job description

You ll be part of a team producing precision components used in a very complex device designed to save lives.

These components are produced on highly advanced CNC machines and you will be responsible for their preparation before the anodising, plating and painting processes

You ll be running a series of rumbling and vibrating deburring machines, degreasing and polishing then checking components against engineering drawings and then transfering the components to the anodising process

Some components require masking to protect surfaces from the chemicals used

You ll need commercial experience in abrasive cleaning, deburring, degreasing, demonstrating safety knowledge in the handling of hazardous chemicals

There s lot of available overtime on 2 shifts; 8am to 4.45pm Monday to Friday OR a rotating early 6am-2pm and 1.45pm-10pm shift pattern if preferred (the shift option comes with a 20% pay uplift) in this very clean and modern factory
