Job summary

A leading automotive repair company in East Finchley is seeking a talented MET Technician to repair damaged vehicles using modern equipment in a state-of-the-art facility. The ideal candidate will have a recognized apprenticeship, strong team skills, and experience in a busy body shop. This full-time role offers a base salary up to £50,000 with bonuses potentially increasing earnings to over £55,000.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience working as a MET Technician / MET Strip Fitter within a busy body shop.
• Self-motivated to earn bonus hours.
• Demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.

Responsibilities

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced accident repair centre.
• Follow the correct repair techniques and produce work in line with factory specifications and customer satisfaction.

Skills

Experience with Geometry work and 4 wheel Alignment

Ability to work to the highest standard

Strong team player

Education

Recognized apprenticeship as MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician

Technical qualification (such as NVQ / ATA / IMI / SVQ)

MET Technician

Location: Finchley
Basic Salary: Up to £50,000
Extras: Bonus Scheme OTE £55,000+

Hours: 45 hour week Monday - Friday

Our client is looking for a talented and efficient MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician to join this leading team. You will be repairing damaged vehicles in line with the manufacturers’ specifications within a state of the art body shop, utilising modern equipment and techniques.

Qualifications

• Will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Strip Fitter / MET Technician and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / ATA / IMI / SVQ)
• Must have previous experience working as a MET Technician / MET Strip Fitter within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours
• Have experience with Geometry work and 4 wheel Alignment
• Will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques
• Diagnostic training
